The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gabor gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and The Great holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

The Great is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Gabor gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Gabor tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Gabor drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gabor is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. The Great is aware though and is defending well.
The Great is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Gabor escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. The Great gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Great is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Gabor is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Gabor has escaped and now he's on top!

The Great has his foot on Gabor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gabor works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The Great wants to stand up but Gabor is controlling him.
Gabor is looking to work some ground and pound but The Great has wrist control.
