Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shinohara Sosuke (ranked 3332 p4p, 5139 weight class) and Levi Badney (ranked 371 p4p, 510 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sosuke might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Samurai. Shinohara Sosuke could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Levi Badney's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Levi Badney!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sosuke connects with a jab.
Sosuke misses with a body shot.
Badney scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Badney.
Badney is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sosuke sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Sosuke has closed the distance and engaged Badney in a clinch.

Sosuke pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Badney throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Sosuke is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Badney.
Badney has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Badney takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Badney lands a right hook to the body.

Sosuke throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Badney gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Levi Badney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sosuke throws the kick towards the body but Badney avoids it.
A little jabbing left from Badney on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Sosuke looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Sosuke slips under a jab from Badney.
Sosuke misses with a straight left.
Badney looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
A jab from Badney finds it's way through Sosuke's defenses.
Nice uppercut lands for Sosuke. That snapped Badney's head back.
Sosuke lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Badney is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sosuke steps in with a hook that catches Badney right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Sosuke follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Badney looks absolutely devastated.
