The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mawma takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Mawma feints and as McGregor raises his hands in defense, Mawma changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
McGregor is looking to stand back up but Mawma counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by McGregor.
McGregor is breathing heavily.
Mawma is taking a breather. McGregor says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mawma's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Mawma works to advance to full mount. McGregor defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Mawma cracks McGregor with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
