Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bill King (ranked 1976 p4p, 2214 weight class) and Colby Brown (ranked 114 p4p, 126 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bill King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Colby Brown!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown swats away the attempt to clinch by King.

King throws a body punch but Brown moves out of range.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Brown in particular looking to stall.

King has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brown is working away from the top position though.

King can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brown controls the pace.
King will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

King isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Brown stacks King on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Brown!

The referee asks Brown politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Brown prefers to stall for the moment though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

King is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Brown pulls his head out easily.

Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well Brown has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
