Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ace Of Spades (ranked 4684 p4p, 25242 weight class) and Scott Smith (ranked 468 p4p, 603 weight class). Smith is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Remember The Name. Ace Of Spades has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Of Spades went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Of Spades works the jab nicely.
Smith throws a right and a left that both miss.
Of Spades shoots in for a double leg but Smith sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up but Of Spades swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smith pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Of Spades back to the cage. Smith follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Scott Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Of Spades circles away quickly and effectively.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ace Of Spades.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Of Spades, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
