Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Cordeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gegard Sipowicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cordeiro comes into the arena with Pharoahe Monch - Simon Says (Remix) blaring out of the sound system. Sipowicz has chosen Opeth - Deliverance as his entrance music. Marcos Cordeiro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sipowicz looks to score with a jab to the body but Cordeiro is just out of range.
Sipowicz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sipowicz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Cordeiro uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sipowicz.
Cordeiro shoots for a double leg takedown but Sipowicz sprawls well. He's pushed Cordeiro's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
