Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rob Cas (ranked 6120 p4p, 6426 weight class) and Chris Hart (ranked 568 p4p, 577 weight class). Rob Cas could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Chris Hart 's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart fails with a takedown attempt.
Hart is looking to clinch.
Hart sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Cas throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Cas stuffs the takedown.
Cas lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Cas throws a leg kick which misses Hart 's front leg but catches the back leg as Hart tries to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hart gets a takedown into half guard.
Cas is trying to stand.
Cas definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Cas pushes Hart off but Hart dives into side control.
Hart wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cas keeps working.
Cas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hart on the ground.

Hart decides to stand back up.
No luck for Hart with that takedown attempt.
Rob Cas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Hart .

Hart tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Cas counters with an inside leg kick.
Hart is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hart looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hart steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Cas. That one must have hurt.

Hart throws a wild body kick that Cas sees coming a mile off.
Cas lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Hart breaks from the clinch.

Hart gets a double leg takedown into Cas's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hart 's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Hart with a flurry of punches that miss.
Hart is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Cas keeping moving, preventing Hart from controlling successfully.
Hart looks winded!
Cas is looking to stand up but Hart isn't so interested in that idea.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Hart drops back looking for a leg! Cas is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cas manages to kick Hart off! Hart jumps back into Cas's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Cas moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Hart instigates a clinch.
Cas tries to circle away but Hart has him pinned against the cage.
Hart drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cas pulls his leg out and moves away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cas throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Cas's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hart shoots for a takedown but Cas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hart misses with a jab to the body
and Cas counters with a nice kick to the body.

Hart shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cas manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Hart drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cas looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cas looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cas!

Hart is breathing heavily.
Cas trying to control the position but Hart is working away.
Cas controls the position from side control.
Hart manages to work his way to half guard, despite Cas's best efforts.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hart wants to control but Cas is keeping busy.
Hart might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cas haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Cas tries to pass to full mount but Hart defends it.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Cas lands with a kick to the ribs.
Cas with a jab.
Hart with a poor takedown
and Cas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hart is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Cas lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Cas scores with a push kick.
Cas throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hart 's head.

Cas lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Cas lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hart backs up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hart gets the takedown into side control.
Cas wants to get back to his feet but Hart is dominant here and he's now got Cas's back!
Cas is trying to get back to his feet but Hart has full control of the position and if anything, Cas has just worked his way into a worse spot.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Cas throws a nice head kick!
Cas pushes Hart away with a front kick.
Hart wants to clinch
and Cas makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Hart closes the distance but Cas moves to the side
and Cas counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hart 's knee momentarily.

Cas lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hart will feel that in the morning.

Hart closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cas did well to prevent Hart getting side control.
Cas wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Hart in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Cas tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hart !
