The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan lands with a hook. Gmial tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Chan looks to throw the jab but Gmial is out of range.
Chan misses with a wild body shot.
Chan throws a big shot that misses.
Some wild striking there from Chan.
Chan is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Chan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gmial.
Chan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gmial avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gmial jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Chan misses with a series of wild punches.
Chan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

and Gmial counters with an outside leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Chan sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Gmial seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Gmial works Chan's body with a nice hook.

Chan misses with a double jab.
Gmial closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Yamapi Chan has been cut.

Gmial catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Chan stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Chan walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!

Chan throws a left and a right that both miss
and Gmial counters with a big uppercut that drops Chan face first to the mat! Will he beat the count?! He's struggled up to his knees on 7 but it doesn't look like he's going to make it... he's been counted out! This fight is all over!
