Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Javier Pimba (ranked 5452 p4p, 5825 weight class) and Marcel Romanow (ranked 569 p4p, 582 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pimba slips a straight right by Romanow.
Pimba throws the left hand but Romanow avoids the punch easily.
Pimba looks to land a combination but Romanow avoids it well.
And Romanow tries to counter it with a takedown but Pimba pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Pimba fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Romanow manages to avoid it.

We've been told by Pimba's head coaches at Roosters Coop that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Romanow drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Romanow jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Javier Pimba will probably get the nod.

Romanow throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pimba tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Romanow is in Pimba's guard.

Romanow has hold of Pimba's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Pimba seems comfortable defending it but Romanow has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Pimba is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Pimba is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Romanow couldn't care less - he's delighted!
