The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tandy tries to clinch but Kouser moves out of range.
Tandy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kouser swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kouser shoots in for a double leg but Tandy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kouser drops Tandy with a big left hand and mounts him. Tandy is in big trouble!

It looks like Brock Tandy has been cut.

Kouser takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Kouser lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Tandy is rocked!

Oh Tandy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kouser has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tandy's face.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Kouser drops a big elbow. That's hurt Tandy! More shots from Kouser and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
