Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mifune connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Mifune misses with a hook.
Car looks to score with a jab to the body but Mifune is just out of range.
Car circles away from the clinch attempt
enabling Car to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Kikuchiyo Mifune has been cut.
Mifune scores with a jab to the head.
Car circles away from the clinch attempt.
Car is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Kikuchiyo Mifune seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Car looks to land a left hand but Mifune moved out of range nicely.
Mifune moves to clinch but Car breaks away
and Mifune takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mifune tries to clinch up but Car circles away and keeps his distance.
Mifune looks to throw the jab but Car is out of range.
Car walks into a stiff left hand from Mifune.

Mifune takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Mifune gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Mifune misses with the head strike.

Car escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mifune lands with an overhand left.
Mifune wants to clinch up but Car keeps it at a distance.
Mifune tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Car manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A quick step to the side and Car tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Car uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mifune.
It looked like Car wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Nice defenses there by Mifune.

Mifune fails in his attempt to clinch.
A counter left hand to the body from Car misses its target.

Car's corner calls for a 1-2. Car obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Car staying out of range there.
Mifune ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Car moves away.
Car seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Mifune fails with an attempt to clinch.

Mifune clinches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Car tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Mifune lands an uppercut.
Mifune swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Mifune can't find room to land a body shot as Car controls the action.
Car lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Car blocking some punches.

Car manages to break the clinch.
Mifune lands a jab.

Mifune scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Mifune closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Car out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

A very excited looking Kikuchiyo Mifune rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
