The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zajac on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Tatsumoto tries a head kick but it misses.
Tatsumoto has closed the distance and engaged Zajac in a clinch.
Zajac tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tatsumoto just stands there and leans against the cage.
Zajac jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tatsumoto walks away with a smile on his face. Zajac gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Tatsumoto has closed the distance and engaged Zajac in a clinch.
Tatsumoto misses with a knee strike.
Tatsumoto lands an elbow inside.
Zajac tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tatsumoto just stands there and leans against the cage.
Akira Tatsumoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jan Zajac.
Zajac tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tatsumoto smiles and moves away.
