The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eyegues closes this distance looking for a takedown but Carter circles away.
Eyegues fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Eyegues throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Eyegues looks for a takedown but Carter sprawls well.

Carter postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Eyegues in real trouble here! The ref calls for Eyegues to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
