PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Kozlow (ranked 258 p4p, 380 weight class) and Bill Newton (ranked 3 p4p, 8 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newton blocks a head kick by Kozlow.
Newton tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Newton closes the distance and clinches up with Kozlow, looking for a takedown. Newton pushes Kozlow against the cage but Kozlow circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Newton closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

My spies in Gold Samurai's Gym inform me that Newton has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
