Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lavigne throws a nice outside leg kick.
Skystalker fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Lavigne swats away the attempt to clinch by Skystalker.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lavigne stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Skystalker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Skystalker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lavigne is just content to waste time from the top position. Skystalker takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Lavigne would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Skystalker is working for a rear naked choke. Lavigne is not defending it well and Skystalker has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Lavigne refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Lavigne's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

After the fight, Anni Skystalker was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
