Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steven Locke (ranked 4611 p4p, 3852 weight class) and Tapp Doute (ranked 469 p4p, 0 weight class). Locke comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Steven Locke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tapp Doute!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doute displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Locke throws out the jab.

Doute pushes Locke up against the cage in a clinch.
Locke wants to break the clinch but can't.
Doute jumps guard but Locke turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Doute has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Doute misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Locke.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Locke.
Doute has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Locke is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Steven Locke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tapp Doute.
Locke lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Locke just leaning against Doute, taking a breather.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Locke gets through Doute's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Doute drops down looking for an ankle pick but Locke pulls his leg out and moves away.
Locke uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Doute has time to react.

Locke lands with an uppercut that bounces Doute off the cage and back into range.
Locke lands a glancing blow to the side of Doute's head.
Doute has a takedown stuffed.
Tapp Doute seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Locke keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Locke was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Locke misses with a few strikes there.
Doute fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Locke avoids it really well and circles away.
A little feinted left hand from Locke on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Locke scores with a nice right hand.

It looks like Tapp Doute has been cut.
Steven Locke is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Doute dives in and grabs Locke's left leg, looking for a takedown. Locke pushes down on Doute's head and hops out.
Doute has his takedown stuffed
and Locke counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Doute falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
