The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawris throws a left and a right that both miss
and Coppola counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Lawris is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Lawris dives in for a single leg takedown but Coppola sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Coppola keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Lawris's efforts to push away.
Coppola jumps guard but Lawris turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Salvatore Coppola opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
