The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson misses the shot to the body.
Stevenson pulls out of a head kick attempt.

St Pierre rushes Stevenson and presses him up against the cage.
Stevenson lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

It looks like George St Pierre has been cut.
Stevenson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
St Pierre has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Stevenson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
St Pierre jumps guard but Stevenson stands there with St Pierre around his waist. St Pierre gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
St Pierre tries to score a body lock takedown but Stevenson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Joseph Stevenson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George St Pierre.
Stevenson content to slow the pace in the clinch.
St Pierre is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Stevenson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
St Pierre drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Stevenson manages to break the clinch.
Some bone on bone action there as Stevenson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
St Pierre avoids the head kick by Stevenson.
Stevenson pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Stevenson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Stevenson checks a leg kick nicely.
Stevenson lands with a straight right. St Pierre didn't see that one coming.
St Pierre avoids a kick to the body.
St Pierre swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Stevenson circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops St Pierre to the canvas! St Pierre doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Stevenson keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
