Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luca Meuneix (ranked 3047 p4p, 1716 weight class) and Paul Welch (ranked 384 p4p, 244 weight class). Meuneix comes into the arena with Paul Hertzog - Kumite blaring out of the sound system. Luca Meuneix is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Welch attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
A jab lands there for Meuneix.
Meuneix definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Welch will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A big left from Welch misses.
It looked like Meuneix was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Welch throws an overhand right that lands on Meuneix's shoulder, as Meuneix tries to avoid the shot.
And Meuneix counters with a quick kick to the body but Welch blocks it.
Welch just misses with a punch to the body.
Meuneix moves away from the strike by Welch.
Welch looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Welch tries to clinch there but Meuneix circles away.
Good standup being displayed there by Welch as he connects with a hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Meuneix uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Welch.
It looked like Meuneix wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Welch is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Meuneix.
Meuneix keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Welch.
Welch misses with a low kick.
Meuneix looks to land a body kick but Welch moved away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Welch lands a lovely overhand right.
No joy there for Welch, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Meuneix checks a leg kick.
Meuneix throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Welch.
Welch throws a leg kick but Meuneix sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Welch has taken the fight to the clinch.
Welch misses with some punches.
Welch lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Meuneix blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Meuneix is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Welch is trying to break the clinch but Meuneix has him pressed against the cage.
Welch swings wildly with an uppercut but Meuneix uses good head movement to avoid it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Welch throws a head punch that misses.
Meuneix goes for a takedown attempt but Welch pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Paul Welch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice uppercut lands for Meuneix. That snapped Welch's head back.
Welch throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Meuneix throws a wild hook but Welch just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Meuneix gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Welch raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

A relieved looking Paul Welch thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
