Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Serge Tomao (ranked 4604 p4p, 4525 weight class) and Buck Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Buck Smith!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomao ducks under a wild hook from Smith.
Smith throws a big shot that misses.
A head kick misses from Tomao.
Buck Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Tomao does a little dance to reset his feet.
As Smith tries to get set, Tomao tries to push him back and clinch up but Smith manages to avoid the attempt.
Smith throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
No luck for Tomao with that takedown attempt.
Tomao tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A countering left hand to the body from Smith misses.
Tomao shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Smith sprawls well. Smith wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tomao gets slowly back to his feet.
Smith lands a lovely overhand right.

It looks like Serge Tomao has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Smith throws a hook to the side of Tomao's head but Tomao sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tomao drops down looking for a counter takedown but Smith sprawls and moves away.
Smith misses with a body shot.
Tomao shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Smith defends it nicely.
Smith looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Serge Tomao. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Smith looks to throw the jab but Tomao is out of range.
A jab from Smith misses.
Nice body kick from Tomao.
Smith cracks Tomao with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Tomao avoids a punch combination nicely.
A counter left hand to the body from Tomao misses its target.
Smith stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Smith wants it to stay on the feet.

Tomao clinches.
Tomao is struggling to control the position.

Tomao pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Smith connects with a superb combination that knocks Tomao out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Smith before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Tomao!
