Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Howie Dewitt (ranked 4538 p4p, 23503 weight class) and Jumba Jookiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Jumba Jookiba!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Dewitt tenderised Jookiba's leg. Jookiba is trying to keep his angry face on.
Jookiba takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jookiba chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dewitt can pounce on him.
Jookiba swats away the attempt to clinch by Dewitt.
Jookiba drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Dewitt defends it well.
Dewitt darts in and clinches Jookiba up against the cage.
Dewitt lands an elbow inside.
Dewitt lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Dewitt trying to control the position but instead, Jookiba has worked for underhooks and has pushed Dewitt into the cage.
Dewitt lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Jumba Jookiba has been cut.

Dewitt tries to stall but Jookiba uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Dewitt bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Jookiba dives in for a single leg takedown but Dewitt sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Dewitt wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Dewitt tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jookiba swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The fighters circling - Dewitt throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jookiba takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Dewitt buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Dewitt connects with a solid leg kick.
Jookiba is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jookiba circles away from the clinch attempt
so Jookiba counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Jookiba seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Jookiba decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Dewitt moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Dewitt tries to clinch up.
Jookiba darts in looking for a takedown but Dewitt gets double underhooks and turns Jookiba into the cage.
Howie Dewitt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jumba Jookiba.
Jookiba gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Dewitt throws a front kick that sends Jookiba stumbling back into the cage.
Dewitt stuffs the takedown attempt from Jookiba. Jookiba gets slowly back to his feet.
As Jookiba tries to get set, Dewitt tries to push him back and clinch up but Jookiba manages to avoid the attempt.
Dewitt tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jookiba paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jookiba closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dewitt quickly recovers to half guard.
Jookiba is looking for a kimura but Dewitt is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jookiba to get the leverage.
Dewitt won't allow Jookiba to pass to mount.

Dewitt trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Jookiba manages to pass to mount!
Jookiba lands a big shot there that rocks Dewitt but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Jookiba has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Dewitt is looking to improve his position but Jookiba isn't that keen on the idea.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dewitt tries to improve his position but Jookiba has taken his back! Jookiba has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Dewitt tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Jookiba pushes Dewitt away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
