The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De La Weirdo throws a hook to the side of Wayne's head but Wayne sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Wayne misses with a looping left.
De La Weirdo misses with an uppercut.
Wayne misses the jab.
De La Weirdo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wayne's head backwards.
Wayne throws a hook but De La Weirdo avoids it easily.
De La Weirdo ducks under a wild hook from Wayne.
De La Weirdo is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
De La Weirdo takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Wayne missing with a left hand there. De La Weirdo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wayne throws a body punch but De La Weirdo moves out of range.
Hyatt Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De La Weirdo misses with a hook.
De La Weirdo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wayne throws a jab but it's blocked by De La Weirdo.
Wayne scores with a punch to the head.
De La Weirdo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Wayne takes a shot right to the bread basket.
De La Weirdo tests Wayne's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wayne throws a body punch but De La Weirdo moves out of range.
De La Weirdo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wayne.
Wayne has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Wayne there as he acknowledges the shot.
De La Weirdo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

De La Weirdo takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

De La Weirdo looks up at the clock. Bad move! Wayne lands a right hand from hell, dropping De La Weirdo. Wayne pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Hyatt Wayne spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
