The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by george or perhaps it was just good defense by do Zuleika which made him look bad.
do Zuleika thows a body shot but no joy.

and george counters with a takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

george wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by do Zuleika, who protects the arm well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
george looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
george seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but do Zuleika does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

george uses his free foot to push down on do Zuleika's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for do Zuleika.
