Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Heung Min Choi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marc Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Heung Min Choi has been cut.
Choi scores with a jab.
Johnson just misses with a punch to the body.
Choi cracks Johnson with a good jab.
Johnson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Marc Johnson has been cut.
Johnson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Choi rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Johnson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Johnson walks straight into a right hand from Choi - that's dropped him! Choi jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Johnson from any more punishment! Johnson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Heung Min Choi!
A relieved looking Heung Min Choi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
