Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Island Mahn (ranked 4529 p4p, 4599 weight class) and Eddy Garbrand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garbrand lands with an uppercut that bounces Mahn off the cage and back into range.
Mahn leaves Garbrand with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Mahn swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Mahn pivots, looking for a leg kick but Garbrand is out of range and Mahn settles back down.
Mahn stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Garbrand shoots for a double leg takedown but Mahn sprawls well. He's pushed Garbrand's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
