Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sss Sss (ranked 24493 p4p, 6523 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Sss displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Xxx.

Xxx shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Xxx showed some decent athleticism there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sss tries to kick Xxx off but Xxx keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Xxx seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Sss is trying to stand.
Xxx passes the guard and advances to mount!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sss wants to get back to his feet.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Xxx's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

It looks like Xxx might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Sss is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Xxx controlling from mount.
Sss trying desperately to get to his feet.
Xxx takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Sss is working to get back to half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Xxx Xxx dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Xxx shoots in looking for a takedown. Sss tries to sprawl out of it but Xxx keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sss manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sss is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Xxx asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Sss explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Sss shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Xxx but Xxx pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Xxx follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

Xxx closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Xxx lands in his opponent's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Xxx sitting in guard here, content to control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
Xxx throws a big right hand that misses.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Sss slaps away a takedown attempt from Xxx, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Xxx shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sss is trying to defend but Xxx finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Xxx has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Sss looks like he's trying to stand up.

Sss pushes Xxx off and gets back to his feet.
Sss shoots in but no luck this time.
Sss Sss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Xxx Xxx is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Xxx shoots in for a double leg but Sss sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Xxx shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sss sprawls well. Sss wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Xxx gets slowly back to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Xxx Xxx.
