Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Howie Finkelman (ranked 6124 p4p, 2221 weight class) and John Fisher (ranked 472 p4p, 238 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Howie Finkelman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, John Fisher!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Bruno Lombardi and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Finkelman is trying to force a seperation but Fisher has the dominant position.

Fisher lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Finkelman or not.
Fisher lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Finkelman backwards.

Fisher can't find room to land a body shot as Finkelman controls the action.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

John Fisher dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Fisher feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Finkelman sprawling to the canvas! Finkelman rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Fisher finish him?!

Finkelman is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
Fisher connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Finkelman out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Fisher!
