The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carbone closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Evans is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Carbone's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Carbone's back!
You can see the frustration on Carbone's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Carbone is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Evans has the hooks in. Carbone is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Evans passes his arm under Carbone's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Carbone taps!
