Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Morales (ranked 2732 p4p, 2761 weight class) and Daniel Sanninen (ranked 355 p4p, 358 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morales connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Morales moves into range and clinches up with Sanninen.
A nice right hand lands inside from Morales.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Sanninen just misses with a elbow thrown towards Morales's brow.

Morales escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Sanninen told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Morales dives in and grabs Sanninen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sanninen pushes down on Morales's head and hops out.
