Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Warren Westside (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Westside's entrance music is Queen - Another One Bites The Dust. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westside fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Davis.
Davis looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Westside!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davis goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Westside turns into him and now he's in Davis's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Davis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Davis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Westside's waist but Westside gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Davis off to one side.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Westside cracks Davis with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Westside lands a big shot there that rocks Davis but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Westside fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Davis manages to avoid it.

so Davis counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Westside will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Westside has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Davis off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Westside falls off balance throwing a combination
and Davis counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Davis looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Westside manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Westside cracks Davis with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Westside counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Warren Westside has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mac Davis.
Davis takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Westside fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Davis, pushing him back against the cage.
Davis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Westside walks away with a smile on his face. Davis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Davis counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Westside!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Davis goes for an armbar but Westside turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Westside.
Westside is pushing down on Davis's leg trying to pass to half guard. Davis is fighting to maintain full guard but Westside has managed to sneak the leg through.
Westside moves into full mount! Davis won't be happy about that!

Westside fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Davis reaches up and pulls Westside towards him, trying to control the position. Westside manages to get a guillotine from the mount though! This could be big trouble for Davis! Davis tries to roll over - now Westside is on the bottom but the guillotine is really deep and Davis has to tap out! Great work there by Westside!
