The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vermeulen takes the fight into the clinch.
Holloway drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Vermeulen gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Holloway is trying to force a seperation but Vermeulen has the dominant position.
Holloway has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vermeulen avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Vermeulen comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Harvey Holloway has been cut.
Vermeulen lands a damaging elbow.
Vermeulen told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Holloway takes an elbow to the forehead.
Holloway wants to take the fight to the mat but Vermeulen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
