Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Carvalho (ranked 2248 p4p, 5883 weight class) and Ron Austin (ranked 296 p4p, 574 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jonas Carvalho has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jonas Carvalho seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Carvalho lands the left hand.

It looks like Ron Austin has been cut.

Austin has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Carvalho is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Austin.

Carvalho gets to mount! Austin was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Austin parries the strikes from Carvalho easily there. Carvalho is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Austin to escape.

Carvalho decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Carvalho throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Oooh a lovely combination from Carvalho sends Austin down but not out. Carvalho dives into side control looking to finish.

Carvalho decides to stand back up.
Carvalho lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Austin circles away quickly and effectively.
Carvalho looks to land a combination but Austin avoids it well.
Carvalho pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Austin back to the cage. Carvalho follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Austin finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Carvalho's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Austin falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
