Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dave Hampton (ranked 6169 p4p, 5312 weight class) and Jardani Jovanovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dave Hampton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jardani Jovanovich!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hampton shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hampton was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jovanovich managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Hampton.
Hampton controlling the position.
Jovanovich tries to improve position but can't.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Hampton has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Hampton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jovanovich keeps working.
Jovanovich wants to control but Hampton postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jovanovich is trying to improve his position.
Hampton trying to control the action but Jovanovich is working from the bottom.
Hampton slows the pace down.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jovanovich tries to bench press Hampton off him but Hampton keeps the position.
Jovanovich throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Jovanovich tries to improve position but can't.
Jovanovich is pushing Hampton's head away, looking to escape. Hampton manages to hold on to the position though.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hampton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jovanovich was covering up waiting for the punch and Hampton finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jovanovich pushes Hampton off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Hampton shoots in and gets a takedown into Jovanovich's guard.

Jovanovich is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hampton controls from within his opponent's guard.
Hampton pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jovanovich is keeping the position for now.
Hampton throwing strikes but missing.
We've been informed that Jovanovich has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Jovanovich is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hampton not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Jovanovich darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Jovanovich throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Jovanovich frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Jovanovich with shots to the head and body - Hampton looks very uncomfortable down there.
Hampton tries to hold on but Jovanovich pushes him away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hampton is squirming around, avoiding Jovanovich's attempts to control the action.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jardani Jovanovich dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hampton tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jovanovich defends well and Hampton ends up having to push Jovanovich into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hampton ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hampton no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Hampton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jovanovich defends it easily.
Jovanovich wants to control from the top but Hampton keeps moving.

Hampton has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Jovanovich should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Hampton has tightened it up now! Jovanovich should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
