Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mc Mae!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, jake Tyler!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mae shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tyler's guard.
Mae gets to his feet. Tyler looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Tyler forces Mae back against the cage and clinches.
A right handed body shot lands from Tyler.
Mae blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Tyler tries to stall but Mae uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Tyler makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Mae is trying to drag Tyler to the mat but Tyler just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Mae is working for takedown but Tyler is calmly controlling the position for now.
Tyler wants a takedown but no success here.
Tyler breaks the clinch.

Tyler shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mae holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Tyler decides to pull guard.
Mae gets to his feet. Tyler looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

so Mae counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mae drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mae jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Mae stops Tyler from standing up.
Mae is breathing heavily.
Tyler is trying to keep Mae in close.
Mae throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tyler works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mae drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mae jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Mae has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mae thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tyler wants to sweep but no luck.
Tyler is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Tyler tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Mae counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Mae wants to control from the top but Tyler keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tyler is trying to keep Mae in close.
Tyler lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mae!
Tyler working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Tyler looking to control but Mae is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Mae tries to buck Tyler off but he can't manage it.
Tyler wants to control the pace but Mae is squirming around nicely.

Tyler has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mae's face.
Tyler lands a nice shot to the head.

Tyler tries to control but Mae wriggling away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tyler is landing with some decent strikes but Mae is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
