Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zangief Hagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Solomon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Solomon has chosen Silence as his entrance music. Roy Solomon has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Zangief Hagger's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zangief Hagger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roy Solomon!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hagger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Solomon's waist but Solomon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hagger off to one side.
Nice takedown defense from Solomon. No joy for Hagger on that attempt.

Hagger shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Solomon's guard.

Hagger loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Solomon kicks Hagger off and gets to his feet.

Solomon rushes Hagger and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Solomon gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Hagger trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Hagger looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Solomon postures up in Hagger's guard and throws a big left but Hagger blocks it.

Hagger had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Solomon is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hagger Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Solomon's back instead.
Solomon is trying to break free.

Hagger has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Hagger is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Hagger is breathing heavily.

Hagger is looking for a choke. Solomon gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Solomon manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Solomon trying to control the position from guard on top but Hagger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Solomon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hagger is proving hard to escape from.
Solomon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hagger is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Solomon wants to get up but he can't break Hagger's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Solomon looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hagger stuffs the takedown attempt from Solomon. Solomon gets slowly back to his feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Solomon has Hagger up against the cage in a clinch.

Solomon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hagger will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zangief Hagger. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Solomon gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Solomon wants to stand but Hagger is controlling the position.
Solomon is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Hagger wants to control from the top but Solomon keeps moving.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hagger's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Solomon controls Hagger momentarily but Hagger frees himself.
Hagger content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zangief Hagger dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Solomon throws a leg kick which misses Hagger's front leg but catches the back leg as Hagger tries to avoid it.
Solomon tries to clinch up but Hagger circles away and keeps his distance.
Solomon seems to be stalking Hagger here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Hagger drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Roy Solomon!
