Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Branson Burt (ranked 3440 p4p, 4705 weight class) and Ryan Kettlestone (ranked 385 p4p, 487 weight class). Burt kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Got the Life. Ryan Kettlestone is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Branson Burt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Kettlestone!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kettlestone tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Burt scores with a takedown into Kettlestone's guard.
Burt controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Burt gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Burt clinches with his opponent.
Burt using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kettlestone has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Kettlestone wants to break the clinch but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burt connects with a knee to the head.
Kettlestone is looking to break free of the clinch but Burt has double underhooks.
Burt misses with an elbow strike.
Burt tries a knee to the head but Kettlestone blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Burt just leaning against Kettlestone, taking a breather.
Burt throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kettlestone blocks it with crossed arms.
Burt with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Kettlestone throws a punch but it's blocked by Burt.
Kettlestone misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Burt.
Burt is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Burt manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Burt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kettlestone tries a head kick but it misses.
Kettlestone tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Burt fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kettlestone, pushing him back against the cage.
Burt has clasped his hands together around Kettlestone's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Burt is staying tight to Kettlestone's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Burt has an Americana. Kettlestone didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Burt is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Burt hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Branson Burt!
