And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wilba Freedman!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freedman defending well as Klimov loads up on a big left hand.
Freedman with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Klimov to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Wilba Freedman has been cut.
Klimov misses with a hook
and Klimov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Klimov scores with a sloppy right hand. Freedman should have avoided that one.
Klimov tests Freedman's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Freedman darts in looking for a takedown but Klimov gets double underhooks and turns Freedman into the cage.

Klimov tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Klimov is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Freedman gets his way!

Freedman looking to break Klimov's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Klimov remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Freedman will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Freedman is riding his opponent, not letting Klimov buck him off.
Let's hope that Freedman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Klimov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Freedman on the ground.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Freedman is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Freedman takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Klimov looks to land a right hand but Freedman moved out of range.
Klimov throws a jab when Freedman was well out of range.
Freedman wants to counter the offense by Klimov and move into the clinch position.
Freedman looks for a takedown but Klimov sprawls well.
Enokentiy Klimov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wilba Freedman.

Klimov stuns Freedman with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Klimov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Freedman circles away quickly and effectively.
Freedman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Freedman.

Freedman moves away from the strike by Klimov.
Klimov lands an overhand right.

That has opened up Wilba Freedman's cut even more.
Nice sprawl there from Klimov as Freedman shoots in.
It looked like Klimov wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Freedman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Klimov connects with a nice looking jab.
Klimov feints with a jab and clips Freedman right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Freedman is sent crashing into the canvas and Klimov leaps in for the kill! Freedman tries to get to his feet but Klimov is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Freedman is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Enokentiy Klimov!
