Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hakansson throws a right hand that Pawlowski ducks under and follows up with a left that Pawlowski also avoids with ease.
Sloppy strikes from Hakansson. Those never looked like landing.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pawlowski! But no joy.
Hakansson swinging wildly here.
And Pawlowski tries to counter it with a takedown but Hakansson pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Hakansson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pawlowski tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Hakansson misses with a double jab.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pawlowski! But no joy.
Hakansson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Jack Hakansson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pawlowski displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hakansson.
It seemed like Pawlowski was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hakansson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pawlowski's head.

and Pawlowski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Pawlowski drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hakansson defends it well.

Pawlowski throws out a counter right but Hakansson avoids it with no problem.
Hakansson misses with a looping right.
Pawlowski looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Hakansson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pawlowskis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Hakansson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pawlowski drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hakansson defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hakansson misses the jab.
Hakansson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hakansson.
Pawlowski is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pawlowski gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Hakansson gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
