Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roman Reyes (ranked 3140 p4p, 2661 weight class) and Joseph Mawma (ranked 384 p4p, 326 weight class). Reyes comes to the cage accompanied by Zack Hemsey - Vengeance. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Reyes finds it's target.

Mawma fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Reyes sprawls well initially but Mawma persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Mawma wants to take a breather but Reyes is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reyes wants to get back to his feet but Mawma is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Mawma slips a nice elbow through Reyes's hands, connecting with Reyes's forehead.
Mawma seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Mawma is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Reyes can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
