Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown misses with a wild combination.
Brown throws a series of punches but Prevost moves out of range.
Prevost misses with a double jab
and Brown counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Brown shoots in looking for a takedown. Prevost tries to sprawl out of it but Brown keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Prevost manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Prevost throws a right hand that Brown ducks under and follows up with a left that Brown also avoids with ease.
Brown fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mike Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown shoots in but no luck this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Prevost takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Brown shoots for a takedown but Prevost saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

so Prevost counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Prevost looking to sit in guard and control but Brown gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Prevost tries to strike from the bottom.
Prevost controls Brown momentarily but Brown frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Prevost swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Brown throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Prevost is trying to control the position but Brown postures up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Prevost throws a right and a left that Brown avoids nicely.
Brown throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Prevost counters with a big head kick but Brown shrugs it off.
Prevost takes one to the chin there.
Brown gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Prevost counters with a series of strikes. Brown will be more careful next time no doubt.
Brown is breathing heavily.

and Prevost counters with a three punch combo that has Brown backing up. Brown nods at Prevost to acknowledge the strikes.
Brown throws a leg kick that is checked
and Prevost counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Prevost trying to control the position from guard on top but Brown is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Prevost really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Prevost in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Brown had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Prevost is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Brown Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Prevost's back instead.
Prevost wants to control his opponent's hands but Brown gets his hands free.
Brown controlling well, preventing Prevost from escaping the position.
Prevost grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Prevost covers up after that shot from Brown.
Prevost is trying to break free.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Brown gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Prevost breaks Brown's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Prevost looking to sit in guard and control but Brown gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Brown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Prevost swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Prevost seems keen to control Brown's posture.
Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but Prevost is retaining full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Caden Prevost dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Prevost feints and as Brown raises his hands in defense, Prevost changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Prevost won't allow Brown to sweep him here.
Prevost content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Brown has locked up a guillotine! Brown's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Prevost is holding on here and Brown must be using up a lot of energy. Prevost has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Brown gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
