Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fet Bard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akihiko Takahashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takahashi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Off The Heezay kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takahashi scores with a takedown into Bard's guard.
Takahashiis looking to pass into half guard but Bard pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Bard is in guard.
Takahashi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bard wants to stand but Takahashi is controlling his posture from full guard.
Takahashi thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Takahashi wriggles free and stands up.
Bard lands a nice looking kick to the body. Takahashi takes a step back to recover.
Takahashi blocks a leg kick.

Bard misses with a wild combination.
Takahashi tries to clinch up.
Bard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Takahashi lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Bard closes the distance but Takahashi moves to the side
and Takahashi counters with a low kick, right behind Bard 's knee.
Bard misses with a low kick.
Bard fails in his attempt to clinch.
Fet Bard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Takahashi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Takahashi is looking to work some ground and pound but Bard has wrist control.

Bard has his foot on Takahashi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Takahashi works his way back into a safe position though.

Takahashi throws and elbow that misses. Bard uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Takahashi's guard. Nice move by Bard!
Bard trying to control the position from guard on top but Takahashi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Takahashi wants to improve his position here. There's a bit of a scramble and Bard has taken Takahashi's back! He's locked on a rear naked choke here and Takahashi has been forced to tap!
