Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Diamond (ranked 1678 p4p, 2085 weight class) and Abigg Chungus (ranked 218 p4p, 270 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Diamond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Abigg Chungus!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chungus tries to clinch but Diamond moves out of range.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

It looked like Diamond was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Diamond's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chungus connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Diamond scrambles back to his feet.
Diamond stalks Chungus and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Chungus's face. Chungus staggers backwards, shaken.
Chungus works Diamond's body with a nice hook.
No joy there for Chungus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chungus throws a shot from downtown. Diamond moves away and avoids it.

Diamond clinches.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Diamond sends Chungus crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Diamond is motioning to the referee to let Chungus up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Diamond dips a shoulder and cracks Chungus with a mighty uppercut! Chungus falls back against the cage and Diamond unloads with a barrage of strikes! Chungus is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Diamond screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Diamond!
