The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuentes shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Fuentes looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Matti looks for the body kick but Fuentes saw that one coming.
Matti misses the body punch
and Fuentes makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Fuentes blocks a head kick by Matti.
Matti steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fuentes.
Fuentes lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Parta Matti has been cut.
Matti is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Matti swings away with a body shot that misses
and Fuentes counters with a stiff right hand.
Matti tries a low kick but Fuentes avoids it.
Fuentes moves out of range of the strikes.
Fuentes scores with a leg kick.
We've been informed that Matti has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Fuentes swings wildly with an uppercut but Matti uses good head movement to avoid it.

Matti doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Matti scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Matti thuds his right hand into Fuentes's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Fuentes cracks Matti with a right hand to the side of the head.
Matti thows a left - swing and a miss!
Matti scores with a jab to the jaw.
Fuentes misses with a hook. Matti ducked under it nicely.
Matti tries to bum rush Fuentes with a series of wild strikes but Fuentes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Matti throws a body punch but Fuentes moves out of range.

That has opened up Parta Matti's cut even more.
Fuentes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Matti misses with an uppercut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fuentes, as that shot connected.
Fuentes jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Matti swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fuentes swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fuentes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fuentes looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Fuentes connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

The cut above Parta Matti's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Matti swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fuentes rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Matti counters with a head kick. That will keep Fuentes thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Matti misses with a low kick.
Matti fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Matti lands with a good body shot.
Parta Matti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fuentes throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Matti's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fuentes connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Matti scrambles back to his feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from Matti. Fuentes does a little dance to reset his feet.
It looked like Fuentes was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Matti.
Matti misses with a body shot
and Fuentes counters with a huge left! Matti is in big trouble! He's backing up but Fuentes isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Matti from any more damage. A dominating finish by Fuentes!
