This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Bates. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Bates doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Bates might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

McDonald cracks Bates with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Bates looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can McDonald finish him?

McDonald lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Bates can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from McDonald and Bates drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by McDonald.
