Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Susumu throws a wild body kick that Daikaura sees coming a mile off.
Daikaura tries to land a front kick but Susumu steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Susumu closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Daikaura to the mat! Daikaura manages to get full guard.
Susumu is fighting to break Daikaura's control of his arms but Daikaura is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Susumu is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Daikaura has denied him.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Susumu throws a punch but it's blocked by Daikaura.

Susumu shoots in for a takedown but Daikaura shows good takedown defense.

Susumu shoots in and bounces Daikaura off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Susumu walks straight into a right hand from Daikaura - that's dropped him! Daikaura jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Susumu from any more punishment! Susumu complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
