Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roger Riddick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ray Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Riddick sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Johnson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Johnson shoots in for a double leg but Riddick sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Riddick as he jumps to the side.
Riddick is looking for a counter combo.
Roger Riddick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Johnson.
Riddick moves in looking to clinch but Johnson pushes him off.
Johnson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Riddick chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Johnson is looking to clinch but Riddick is avoiding it.
Johnson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That kick from Riddick tenderised Johnson's leg. Johnson is trying to keep his angry face on.
Riddick waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Johnson.
Riddick just misses with a punch to the body.
Johnson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Riddick shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Johnson is trying to defend but Riddick finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Johnson wants to control but Riddick is keeping busy.
Riddick tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Johnson.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson gets back to full guard.
Johnson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Johnson is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Riddick rolls with it to try and escape but Johnson cranks on the arm and Riddick is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
