The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruglov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Makhdoom on the side of the head.
Makhdoom tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kruglov looks to score with a jab to the body but Makhdoom is just out of range.
A jab from Kruglov misses.
Kruglov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Makhdoom throws out the jab.
Makhdoom throws a looping overhand right but Kruglov ducks down to avoid it.
Kruglov tries a head kick but it misses.
Makhdoom tries to clinch
and Kruglov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A big left from Makhdoom misses.

Makhdoom misses with a wild body shot.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kruglov.
Kruglov scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Makhdoom is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Makhdoom leaves his chin hanging out and Kruglov seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Makhdoom crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
