The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Jackson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Garrison's guard.

The referee asks Jackson politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Jackson prefers to stall for the moment though.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jackson moves into full mount! Garrison won't be happy about that!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jackson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Garrison defending well though.

Jackson is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Jackson throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Island Boy Jackson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
