Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Beam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beam has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Jim Beam looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beam rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Davidson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Beam looks gassed!
Davidson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Beam. That did some damage!
Davidson scores with a hook to the body. Beam takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Davidson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Beam's head backwards.
Davidson thumps Beam with a low kick.
Davidson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Beam momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A good leg kick by Davidson.
Davidson moves into range and clinches up with Beam.
Beam throws an elbow but it misses.
Davidson gets through Beam's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
A hook to the body from Davidson.
Davidson breaks the clinch.
Beam has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Beam there as he acknowledges the shot.
Beam is rocked!
A nice leg kick lands there from Davidson.
Davidson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Davidson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Beam looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A chopping leg kick lands by Davidson.
Davidson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Beam ducks straight into an uppercut from Davidson and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Beam maanges to regain guard straight away.
Beam is still in real trouble! Can Davidson finish him?

Davidson distracts Beam with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Davidson wants to control from the top but Beam keeps moving.
Beam seems to have recovered his senses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Davidson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Beam's head.

Davidson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Davidson cracks Beam with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Davidson immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Beam is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Davidson!
