Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Finn Faustins (ranked 5139 p4p, 25169 weight class) and Darko Stosic (ranked 485 p4p, 550 weight class). Darko Stosic has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Finn Faustins's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stosic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd cheers as Faustins lands an impressive looking overhand right. Stosic doesn't seem phased though.
A bone on bone clash there as Faustins blocks the leg kick.
Faustins definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

It looked like Faustins wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Faustins ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

and Stosic makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Stosic throws a lazy right hand but Faustins sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Faustins was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Faustins has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Faustins there as he acknowledges the shot.
Stosic wants to land a leg kick but Faustins is out of range.

Stosic lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

As Faustins backs off Stosic throws a huge counter combo but Faustins manages to avoid it all.

Faustins throws a body shot but no joy.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Faustins throws a poor cross that misses
and Stosic counters with a two punch combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Faustins misses with a double jab
and Stosic counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Faustins looks to land a left hand but Stosic moved out of range nicely.

and Faustins takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Stosic lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Faustins cracks Stosic with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Faustins cracks Stosic on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Stosic falls backwards against the cage. Faustins follows up with more strikes that drop Stosic to his knees. Faustins keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Stosic! This one is all over!
